This position focuses on research of current events in microfinance and involves writing 6 to 8 stories per week of the type that appear on our home page. Interns have leeway to direct a significant portion of their work toward areas of personal interest (e.g., savings, micro insurance or a particular region of the world). Native English and excellent writing skills are required.
This position revolves around the company’s financial risk analysis. It requires that due diligence must be performed on rating the credit of the borrower.
The analyst is responsible for several tasks, which include providing guidance on credit risks related to lending programs that involve massive amounts of money; help assess the different businesses and individuals it can offer loans to and, thus, generate a return on their cash assets.
This position majorly involves the management of data sources, and guaranteeing the quality and accuracy of data.
The analyst will also be responsible for manipulating data to create specialized reports, including reports of data for use by the marketing department and other colleagues.
This position involves maintaining and developing our websites. A technical background is required.
The minimum time commitment is 15 to 20 hours per week for a minimum of 10 weeks. The daily schedule is flexible. All positions are carried out online and thus can be completed from anywhere in the world.
